cookies2This super easy no-bake cookie recipe has become a family favorite over the past decade. The hint of almond is delicious and chocolate – need I say more? We have made these cookies for various family events over the years: birthdays, baby showers and most definitely Christmas!  I even made them for my book club last week and everyone LOVED them! Instructions
  1. Crush chocolate graham crackers using a food processor. If one is not available put them in a large zip-lock bag and crush using a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl combine graham crackers crumbs, powdered sugar, almonds, butter, almond flavoring and water until well mixed.
  3. Shape into one inch balls; dip or roll the top half in the sugar sprinkles.
  4. Place on a cookie sheet that is lined with wax or parchment paper. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Store refrigerated, in a covered container.
  5. These are just the right size to put in a small decorative liner similar to those used to make homemade peanut butter cups or chocolates. They can be found on the candy making or baking aisle in most craft stores.
